Parents destroyed son's $29,000 porn collection, he sues

I'm dying laughing. When did men become such losers?

The dad's comment is just PERFECT -

"Believe it or not, one reason for why I destroyed your porn was for your own mental and emotional health...I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine," his father wrote. "Someday, I hope you will understand."

I think he has legal grounds, but this is pathetic. No wonder he's divorced. There's an unreal amount of porn available for free.

Not all men are losers, it might just be the type you attract.

$29k worth of porn??? The father should just tell the judge that some of the pictures looked like they were of underaged girls/boys and I didn't want to mail anything illegal.

That’s what you think is wrong in this scenario? That the guy paid for his porn?

I hope he wins. Those parents sound insane.

The article didn't mention anything about mailing, or did I miss that?

There's a lot wrong. Spending $30K on porn when you can't afford your own place is part of it.

Um, no. If my kid leaves $30k of porn in my house, it will be thrown out. My house, my rules.

Parents are in Michigan and he moved to Indiana. When his parents allegedly delivered his property to his new home, the son noticed that his massive collection was missing.

IMO if the parents put up the cost of moving and delivering his collection and anything else within his property, they have the right do what they please.

He should have moved his porn himself if he felt that strongly about it.

Transporting child or illicit pornography across state boundaries is illegal regardless of how you do it - just FYI.

Who buys porn anymore? Is this thread from 1992?

I watch enough Judge Judy to know the son could win this case. They destroyed his property doesn’t matter that it was salacious it was his.
