Britax doesn’t care about protecting kids

Just wanted to make sure everyone saw the WaPo article (also picked up elsewhere) that when Britax learned that their jogging stroller had had hundreds of front wheel failures, leading in some cases to both kids and parents having serious injuries, they refused to do a recall. Instead they fought CPSC as hard as they could and when Trump appointees took over they made the case go away and nothing was done to notify people who owned those strollers.

Maybe you think that’s fine— it’s capitalism and deregulation at its finest— but it’s worth knowing the attitude of one of the larger manufacturers of child safety seats and strollers when considering what to buy.
