Threw up 30 minutes after antibiotic

3 yo has pneumonia. Just gave 4th dose (day 2/10, so early on and actively sick) and about 30 mins later he threw up. It wasn’t pink like the medicine, so maybe it absorbed? Do I give another dose?

This happened to my son w/ amoxicillin. They said if not pink & at least 30 mins don’t repeat. I’d say your ok. They suggested we break it into smaller doses when he still felt pretty bad bc the full dose was making him feel sick. Good luck

Always good to check with your dr and/or pharmacist — but what my dr has said is that it’s ok as long as it’s more than 15 mins later.
