So random, but just curious if others disinfect their cell phones to keep them germ free and how you typically do it. My kids are always grabbing my phone and I feel like it’s so germy and gross from taking the Metro and just general life. |
I randomly have a bunch of rubbing alcohol pads and I usually use those. Sometimes I put a tissue over the pad to make it not so wet. |
I do - I wipe with Clorox wipes during flu season but just soapy water cloth in summer. I do it often in winter. Less often in summer. |
I don't consider myself a germaphobe, but 1x week/every few days, I wipe down my cellphone/keyboard with Clorox wipes. |
Wipe every other day w/clorox wipe and windex the screen 1/week. |
Call me crazy, but I carry my cell phone in a zipper sandwich bag. I work in a germy environment and even when I'm off work, I have things prone to spillage in my bag. Keeping my phone in a baggie keeps it clean, dry, and free from grubby fingerprints.
I also disinfect with rubbing alcohol. |
I will wipe one of those Seventh Gen disinfecting wipes if I think about it, but thats it. Im sure mine is nasty |
Phone soap |
I clean the screen when it is dirty with eye glass cleaner. I don’t think that I have ever used a disinfectant on my phone or iPad. I catch the occassional cold but that is about it. |
Clorox wipe and then wipe it dry. |
I’m a teacher and am immunosuppressed. I keep it in a quart sized ziploc bag during the school day. When I get home from being out I spray some Lysol on a tissue or paper towel and wipe the phone down. I rarely let my kids touch it. |
This is the reason I don’t use it on metro. |
I think I might try this. I'm home sick for the third time this year |
Same. |
I am pretty sure constantly touching something that's been doused in clorox is worse for you than any germ. Use rubbing alcohol. |
