Encore Groups

Anyone here involved in an Encore group or community? Have you found it useful?

My mom sings with Encore and she and my dad takes classes with Oasis. Both are active and engaged. My parents moved to the area at ages 71 and 73, and have been here a little over 6 years.

Do you mean an area? Or a residential setting?
I mean a discussion and or community group to discuss post retirement second chapter (s).

Whoops! From my parents, in Potomac, I hear all about Encore, a chorale group for those over 55 and Oasis which is a socual/education org that puts on workshops, trips, classes, social events, etc. for seniors.
