Studio cycling or OTF?

I need to increase my cardio to 4 to 5 times a week, so I need to go unlimited membership and I need to pick one of the above. Its more expensive to do pack of classes in both. Because in addition to unlimited in one of these. I'm keeping my yoga classes. I need at least once a week of yoga witg 4 to 5 days of cardio and weights a week. I enjoy both, maybe OTF more because I did it longer, but maybe I need to switch now. I think I burn similar amount if calories in both. What do you think its better is the goal is weight loss?

why do you need to increase cardio to 4-5 times per week? If your goal is weight loss you need to focus on your diet. That said I would probably pick OTF because there are some weights involved, but if you enjoy cycling then do that. In the big picture it really doesn't matter. Diet will always be most important.

I'm doing Keto and IF at the same time. I already lost 16 lbs since the beginning if the year. Im starting to hit a platue in weight loss that's why I'm trying to find new strategies for weight loss. Diet wise, I can't do more than what I'm doing, starvation is not an option for me.

are you tracking calories? because keto is really just a way to help reduce calorie, but it is still possible to eat too many calories on keto. I also find that too much cardio increases my appetite in a way that lifting weights doesn't.

I stopped tracking because I was losing the weight and I thought I figured how much to eat. I don't think I increased the amount of food.I should go back to tracking. Good point!

are you currently doing any cardio or exercise? I know it is always temping to want to go all out to get quick results, but as long as the scale is still moving, even is slower than before, your better of in the long terms with a more moderate approach. 4-5 days a week of high intensity cardio is a lot.

Yes I have been doing cardio for a while, only started to lose the weight when I started the keto and IF a couple of months ago, I have been doing more like twice a week of cardio, I'm thinking to go back to 4 or 5 but not sure yet

Same. i lost weight when stopped OTF and started weight training and being more meticulous with my calories. That doesn't mean OTF hindered weight loss, in the end i think i lost weight more because I was more meticulous with following a diet/counting calories. i think I also used my hard OTF workout as an excuse to eat a little more which kept me the same weight for a while.

I had also hit a plateau with keto and IF and eliminated dairy. Plateau busted! Cheese, heavy cream, butter, and other dairy products pack alot of hidden calories.
