We’ve been able all the plastic crap out of our house so far, but DS 3 seems to really enjoy the duplo legos at his preschool. Anyone have any suggestions, of toys that are similar that are not plastic. We have set of wooden blocks and wooden magnet blocks. |
Omg!
![]() Just buy your poor kid some legos! People in this area are so insufferable! Stupid stuff like this is why Trump is president. |
We use these, but they are small, not duplo size. You may need to wait a few years. https://www.amazon.com/Mokulock-Wooden-Building-Blocks-IPPINKA/dp/B01C6LPMIK |
+1 Buy them used if you don’t want to waste. They last forever. |
I don’t like plastic toys but Legos are really durable. A green option is to buy them used- you can run them through the dishwasher to sanitize and they will be fine to resell when your son grows out of them. |
You.are.ridiculous. |
My mom still has our legos from the early 80s. Greenest toy ever. Even used legos go for a decent price. |
Buy used Legos?
And try to dial back the insufferability. |
Do you hate your kid? Buy the dang Legos! |
Buy lego second hand! They last forever - my parents kept my Lego and now my kids have it (and we have also added to the collection with new stuff). No reason we won’t keep this collection ready for future grandchildren - the old stuff is perfect |
Legos and diploma are some of the best toys out there!! Just don’t step on them.
But seriously, so durable, last forever, can be passed down over and over and over again. |
Buy the legos. Please. |
Because legos last so long, you can buy them used and still feel good about yourself. If they were wood they would break orcyou would not be able to build the complex things you can with legos |
Those cost $1 a piece! And they don't include the pieces my kid, at least, likes best. Just buy the damn legos. |
