I mean, it's literally the fault of the people who voted for Trump - or decided not to vote - in the states that matter. For example, Arab voters in Dearborn. We all told you that your "message to the DNC" would end like this. You told us it was worth it. Is it worth it? |
No. Trump voters and those who sat it out are singularly responsible for Trump's victory. |
Whoosh. Did you not read the part where I said that the end may get those voters back??? You are idiots if you do t understand that there is a large swath of American voters who are fed up being just votes to the major political parties and not people. A lot of people do not have a true political home. Last term we were writing checks we can’t pay off and this term we are alienating our allies. |
Guess what? It was going to crumble either way. As the Zen master said, we’ll see. |
So you were a nihilist all along. You must be thrilled at what's happening now, then. I hope so! |
There is no back There's one party (if you call Trump's group that) in charge and they are making sure there will not be elections as we know them. Which is a great thing since by your stance Americans are so tired and fed up with elections. Do you really think any of these people will be voting in the next election? DOGE, ICE have all the voter rolls. None of these new voters will show up. I have immigrants in my family. I know they like to lay low when there is trouble and not make waves especially with an authoritarian regime At this point winning elections will not get our country back. It'll take more public action and I don't think these voters will show up for that. So I'm not seeing the urgency to address their concerns about matters outside the U.S. But because you are in America if your or your family get abducted like the students we are hearing about, I will show up to protest that. I will protest that Dept. Of Ed money is being stolen from your cities, etc. Can you say the same? |
Seems like you got a middle of the road education here |
Well, since I supporter Harris, I guess not. But the outcomes were obvious to anyone not fixated on one party or another. Extreme Partisanship is bringing the country down. I maintain that new parties and leadership is needed. Not patched up versions of what we have now. My hope is that we see two new parties emerge in the next 20-30 years. Sooner would be better but I know it takes time. We are in the Fourth Turning. Some of us won’t live long enough to see the next stage but I’m sure that tbings will be better then. |
Almost no one has a true political home. If you are waiting for that, you will be disappointed. |
LOL. You think you’re unique? We’re more alike than you think. |
You are too optimistic Project 2025 forecasts that millions will flee the U.S. and they are okay with that. Got your bags packed? |
So would you? |
This term we are still writing checks we can’t pay off while alienating our allies. Doesn’t that make one worse than the other? No one has a “true political home.” You’re not picking a spouse, you’re choosing whether to get on a bus going forwards or one going backwards. |
Then you agree that the major parties have failed majorly. It isn’t about agreeing 100% with either party. It’s about being able to see where you can agree with somethings in both parties and disagree on somethings in both parties. The parties only want you to be one way forever. And God help you if you see a fleck that needs improvement. You’ll be labeled a traitor. They want sycophants. A house divided will not stand. |
Sounds better than being hauled off to El Salvador and all the Trumpers saying on DCUM that of course there must be more to the story than the fact that they were innocent and taken away just voicing their opinion |
