Yes except for district 4. I don’t love Shebra but her challengers are really extreme and inexperienced.

Outstanding; when there is a Poolesville Public Schools system, he can be king there.

Please don’t go blindly follow the Apple Ballot Endorsements. Ever since they were FOR Measure C in the 2020 elections, I don’t trust their endorsements. All that did was give downcounty 2 more seats that upcounty residents pay for. Anyone know where we can find more info on historical endorsements to compare who won???

For district 2, what do folks think of Ricky Fai Mui?

Shebra has a lot of experience, but little to show for it. I'm voting for Stewart.

I don't think that's fair or remotely accurate. Stewart seems great and isn't an incumbent. Also,, it's not just me. She';s endorsed by the Apple ballot.

Yes - if you want another stay at home mom social justice warrior who is going to say nice things but then be a yes-man to MCPS, the union, etc. then you should indeed vote for status quo Stewart. The Apple Ballot has always picked the best BOE members. Just look at all the trail blazing work that their last picks in 2022 have done.

What’s so inaccurate? Stewart holds an associate’s degree and lists her employment history as “full time volunteer” in campaign material. She had no kids in MCPS. She’s a nice PTA mom but does that give one the experience necessary to oversee an organization like MCPS? Just look at what real estate developers were able to do with her when they convinced her it would be a good idea to raise taxes on moco homeowners rather than have developers continue to pay impact fees.

As for her extremism, she’s the only candidate I’m aware of who had to run so far from her past views on issues that she shut down her twitter page and made it private the day she declared she’s running for office despite using it for years to publicly express her views. Doesn’t scream “mainstream” to me. More like a candidate desperate to run to the middle and away from her real beliefs so she can be elected.

You can google to find the last several apple ballot picks. They’ve pretty much endorsed every sitting BOE member by now. People lose sight of the fact that the apple ballot is a product of a political organization whose job it is to advocate for and win for their membership. They generally pick the BOE member who they believe is most likely to win so they can score points and curry favor with them. It’s not like the apple ballot is some neutral arbiter of who is best for MCPS. It’s a list of who’s best suited to do their bidding and they throw support to them.

Wow, this is a flat-out lie! Stewart has had two kids in MCPS. The only one who has never had kids in MCPS is Mandel.

I think Julie Yang and Grace Rivera-Oven have both been doing a good job as members.

His website seems to think he's still running for Rockville city council.

Seems like Ricky Fai Mui is a serial candidate for public office, any public office, like Sharif Hidayat.

Me too. Wavering on Stewart vs. Evans though
