Toddler life vest for boat trip....

We are living abroad and really want to take advantage of the beautiful islands we are near. However, we have a 19 month old and would like to buy our own life jacket/vest for him (since no one seems to have one here). Any recommendations?????

Can you get Target to ship to you? I bought my son's Speedo vest from there - just make sure that it is Coast Guard approved as a life saving vest, not a flotation device.
