Fairfax today

just checked website says 2,000 to 5,000 in line. Not even attempting that wait.

Now they're saying 90-minute wait. That's not too bad.
Anonymous
Only 30 min. wait as of 11:45am. I bet it will be like last time, if you wait until 2 or so there will be no line at all.

The Fairfax clinic is now open to all children 6 mos.-18 yrs and pregnant women. The website says the turnout is lower than expected.

Thank you so much for the Fairfax info! Now I just need a place for my healthy adult husband to get the shot.

Me too-he is the only one in the family that's not protected.

Gah! DH just put DD down for a nap and won't wake her up to take her. We've been trying so hard to get her this shot and here's the perfect opportunity and we can't do it If I were home with her I would wake her up and take her, but of course I'm at work and he's watching her, so it is his call. I'm kind of P.O.'d but oh well.

The Fairfax clinic was great! We went this afternoon and it was quick and there was no wait.

I just wish they had opened it up to parents since they were so below what they anticipated.

I agree. DH took DS around 3:30 and there was no wait and they had a lot of doses left. I told DH to ask if they'd vaccinate him also, since they had such a low turnout, but he said they said no.

Pretty sure DS has already had the flu, as have my other two kids and I, but DH is the only one who hasn't been sick - I was really hoping by the end of the day they would open it up to everyone who showed up.
