Perry St Prep closing?

I just saw a post on a listserv about a new private high school: St. Jerome Institute. Address is 1800 Perry St NE.
"SJI focuses on an integrative curriculum and seminar style classes...." $12,800 a year.

It looks like its a separate school sharing the facility but what is odd is the headmaster opened a new school a few years ago in another state so why would he jump ship so quickly and then start a new school.

The should just go ahead and close. There building is basically an annex of other schools.

They own the building, and have room.

Remember they were supposed to sublease to Rocketship for 18-19 but that deal fell through.

Perry Street Prep is about 89% Maryland residents.

Why's that?

Because it treats its students poorly and a school that actually educated kids in dc needs that space.
