Recommendation for Life Insurance Agent/Broker

Anonymous
I want to get new life insurance ($500,000, 25 year term). I like New York Life, but it could be something else.

Would you please recommend somebody who is good (being in the business for a long time, works hard, available and responsive), but not too aggressive or trying to sell things you are not interested in?

Thanks in advance.

Richard Lourie -- nice guy knows the different companies not trying to oversell you.

We got a 30 year, $500k from SBLI. It's ~$20/month.

Is there a reason you need a broker and can't just do it over the internet?

How old are you?

That seems very low.

Life insurance rates are the same no matter how you buy. Use this site to compare for yourself. You can get agent names from the site too. I picked a guy, almost randomly, and got great service.

Leonard Kopp at the Meltzer Group. My husband didn’t get the best category on his physical and he challenged it - I would never have even thought to do that nor would anyone on the internet based quotes. Nice guy, super responsive, former attorney and knows his stuff.

Really though, how old are you?

I'm a 39 yo male in excellent health and I've never gotten a 30 year quote anywhere near that
