What thanksgiving food will you skip this year?

For me, my mom always makes this sweet potato casserole that everyone finds pretty gross (except her). We don’t ever tell her though and she’s always shocked when there are lots of left overs of that dish...

Brussel sprouts.

Grocery store was out when I went Weds and I did not make it to another store.

Caesar salad.

Kale Caesar actually is really good... Romaine be damned!

Turkey. Hate it. Pies because they will not be as good as mine.

Apparently all traditional foods because my in-laws have decided lasagna would be fine. I’m pissed.

Lol. Come back and update!

I'm skipping nothing because I love it all! I just won't have as much of a helping as I normally do. Controlled indulgence.

I hope there is a Boston Market nearby. I would give you so many props if you went through the drive-thru. Or if there is a grocery store open, and there should be, get a frozen turkey dinner and heat it up right before dinner time.

Dooooo itttt!

Corn bread. Not a big fan and never understood the appeal. Id rather eat my calories on something else.

Turkey. It's always dry to the point of gagging. Also pumpkin pie. Heavy and too sweet. I'd rather have a ripe pear with some smoked gouda and a tiny glass of Frangelico hazelnut cordial, so that's what I'll do. I'm taking them.

Pineapple casserole. I love it but I'm the only one.

Here’s the best part. We are stuck in a cabin with them in northeastern Tennessee.

Okay, I'll try almost anything but this one gives me pause … I'm like another poster and I'll take a bit of everything. I looooooove Thanksgiving (and Christmas and Easter and …)! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
