| Left a gallon out accidentally overnight in a cool kitchen. It smells OK. Do you think it's OK? |
| It will smell bad later I bet |
| Chuck it. Isn’t 4 bucks worth not puking? |
|
If it's bad, you'll be able to taste it.
It likely isn't bad now, but it might go bad a bit quicker than usual. You should be fine if you use it right away. |
| I would still drink it. You can smell spoiled milk. |
|
No. Toss it.
Think of it this way: would you pay $4 to avoid puking for a day? |
LOL. I’m immediate PP and responded before seeing yours. |
| You can very easily tell if milk has soured. |
| Dump it. Not worth the risk. |
| You can tell by the smell and taste. I was always shocked when my kids would find a sippy cup from hours ago and still chug it. I definitely think they happily drank cows milk that was 6 hours old on more than one occasion. One time my youngest (maybe 9 months old) found a bottle from almost 18 hours ago and drank that happily before I could grab it. That was my milk so slightly different but I was still shocked. |
| It won’t have gone bad, but will taste off. Use it to make pudding today. You won’t taste it in that. |
|
It's fine if its not near use by date.
