Pregnant Women - Montgomery County

Not sure if folks saw this or not. I got it as a press release:

The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, in cooperation with Shady Grove and Washington Adventist Hospitals, will offer an injectable H1N1 vaccine (thimeresol-free) clinic for pregnant women by appointment only on Wednesday, November 4. Appointments can be made on Monday, November 2 between 3 and 5 p.m. by calling 240-777-4040. Vaccine supplies are limited at this time and additional clinics will be scheduled as soon as more vaccine arrives.

Callers will be asked for name, address and doctor’s name when making an appointment.

Please check Montgomery County’s website for up-to-date information about vaccine availability (www.montgomerycountymd.gov/h1n1flu) or call the Flu Information Line at 240-777-4200 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thank you SO much for posting this. I had bookmarked the website, but might not have seen it in time.

I called to see whether you had to be a MoCo resident; no one answered, but the message said there will be other clinics in upcoming weeks.

They are verifying that you live in Montgomery County and calling your OB to verify pregnancy.

I don't think OBs can legally give out this info, can they? HIPAA? Are you sure it's for MoCo women only?
