NameBubbles - gimmick or?

Gimmick or really good for labeling stuff for daycare? Particularly looking to make sure Comotomo bottles and silicone pacifiers do t loose thier labels.

They are high quality, OP. What I did was order a set with different names, since I didn't need all the labels for one child. That way DD and DS have their labels, and every August they tag some of their important school stuff. The same set has lasted us for a while now. I recommend them!

We have them - the set had so many we just ordered with the last name so we could use for multiple kids. Really high quality. They have lasted for several years - including on bottles that have been repeatedly washed and sterilized.

Really last forever. I’m on the second round of bottles for DD2, countless washes over two kids, and the labels look like new. They have her sister’s name on them but that’s neither here nor there...

Add me to the chorus. I just ordered my second set of family labels - my kids are now 7 and 8. Out of 100+ labels, I think I have had one come off in the wash. Well worth the money. We’ve gone from labeling bottles and crib sheets to labeling sports equipment.

Mine work great. DD's water bottles are all still labeled from two years ago.

We love them. Very easy to use and seem to last so far.

We used them for camps. Still sticking to my DC2's hand-me-downs.

Ditto. Thumbs up from me. Though they lost my last order, which never arrived in the mail.

we have them. They are good. I also had comotomo bottles, and didn't find stickers stuck to the silicone part no matter the brand. What we did was get a set of inchbug bands to put dd's name on the bottom of the bottle (they fit, though are quite snug) and then put a small rewritable sticker on the plastic band that holds the bottle nipple for writing the date on in wax pencil (namebubbles sells the blank labels with wax pencil as a set)--those blank labels never came off and were rewritten every day for nearly a year). Our daycare required both the name and date to be on bottles--so that's why we did it that way. I never found a good way to label silicone pacifiers (we originally started with the soothie ones)--we pretty quickly switched to the mam pacifiers, and were able to write dd's name on the plastic part with a fine point sharpie.

PP. These are the inchbug labels we had that fit the comotomo bottles:

I love Name Bubbles and we stick them to the plastic band of comotomo (the green or pink one). no issues.

Five years and two kids, and they are still going strong! I much prefer Name Bubbles to Mabel's - the Mabel's labels all fell off within a few months.

+1

I had a set of Mabel’s that wasn’t cut all the way through and couldn’t be removed from the backing without mangling them. They sent me a new set (unfortunately after DD had already left for camp), but the replacement set wasn’t much better, frankly. And they were much flimsier than the Name Bubbles we’d always bought. DD was getting older and liked the style options for the NBs better, so we thought we’d try them. Big mistake!

But I still have Name Bubbles labels on some Rubbermaid containers from at least 6 or 7 years ago. They’ve faded a bit after being run through the dishwasher so many times, but they’re still legible, and they haven’t budged. The clothing ones do stick best on tags, but even on tagless stuff they generally stayed on until it was time for Goodwill or hand me downs.

Is there any reason they couldn’t be cut in half? Based on the feedback in this thread, I was thinking of ordering a set with both kids names, then splitting them. At this point I only need to label 2 water bottles and 2 coats, so I really don’t need two sets.
