Flu mist for one child and flu shot for another?

One of my children can not get the mist and needs the injection. My other child does not have asmtha so could get either. Is it dangerous for my child who can get the mist to do this since it has the live virus? If it takes two doses to get the right titer amount to be fully protected wouldn't my first be more at risk until she is fully covered?
