| I am not sure I see what the big deal is? She is a pretty large woman, so I am sure she had no problem convincing them she was pregnant. She has a 6 week old newborn at home and wants to make sure he is protected. This was at one of the DC sites which - according to all accounts - had more than enough vaccine to satisfy those in line over the weekend. She didn't take the vaccine from anyone - there was nobody there Saturday who wanted/deserved it but didn't get it because of her lie. Problem? |
| I am not sure I see why are you trying to start another food fight? |
| You're a bad friend. Also bad for saying "pretty large woman, so I am sure she had no problem convincing them she was pregnant." She gave birth a month and a half ago. Many women still look preg at that stage. Mind your own business or talk to your friend, don't come to this forum. |
Why are you posting this? No one cares. |
| I think she was wrong, but, I can also understand her choice because of the 6 week old. |
| Having a child under 6 months old places her in a CDC priority category. Leave her alone. |
|
She's high risk anyway because she's taking care of an infant under six months.
So the question is, why are you friends with someone who's too stupid to realize she doesn't need to lie in the first place? |
| Fairfax clinics weren't vaccinating that priority group today; only pregnant women and children. So even individuals in the CDC priority group (parents of under-six month infants) weren't able to get the shots. I called to confirm this. It's ridiculous. |
| Maybe try Arlington. If you check some of these threads, there are multiple people who say they, and in some cases their husbands, were openly urged to get the vaccine at that clinic even though they don't fall into any high risk category. Seems to me if they are willing to vaccinate healthy parents of children who are already vaccinated, they'd vaccinate a parent of a child under 6 months. |
| Please let this post die. Who cares? |
