... where else can you get one? My DC is 2.
help! |
| Our ped is out of the flu shot. We had to make an appointment with one of the Inova Hospitals (in VA). They said they have the mercury-free shots. |
| Do you mean seasonal flu? If so, try your OBGYN or internist or call around to the CVS Minute Clinics. |

OP here -- yes, I mean seasonal flu, but I'm also open to DC getting h1n1.
he's only 2, so I wonder whether whether flu shot clinics (like those offered at drug stores) give shots to kids that young. |
| All of the CVS stores and other clinics I contacted last week were 100% out of the injections (not mist) for kids in the 2 year old age range. It's my understanding that there is a nationwide shortage...so frustrating. I do know that Potomac Pediatrics in Rockville has seasonal injections - we got one there yesterday. |
| Also, your 2 year old can get the mist...so he should be able to get the flu mist in a number of locations. |
| Come on-this should be on the NEW flu forum people! |

Fairfax County on Saturday:
http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/flu/h1n1-vaccine-distribution.htm DC also has clinics. |
| I thought that the flu mist could not be given to under 2 year olds so is it really ok if they are right at 2? |
