Their children are not babies. Three are out of high school, one out of college with a job, the last two are in high school and were adopted. The kids have a good life, even with divorce.

Plenty of adults struggle with their parents' divorce even if happens when they were teens. This is their first model of a relationship and when it explodes so does their foundation and feeling of trust.

+100. My parents divorced in my 20s and I assure you that it’s been a river of destabilizing crap and a total nightmare for years. Yes even though I have my own husband, my own kids, my own house, my own money. And definitely my own therapist.

Teens are allowed space, and to keep their existing accounts. The fact that some random woman in the DC area looked at her sons Instagram should tell you the kind of attention they are getting.

I think a few of the kids posted this.

If they were really concerned the accounts would be locked and they’d remove followers they don’t know. But the likes during the good times were more important.
