Only children during quarantine- how is it going?

My 4 yr old is having a blast - so much mom & dad time, limited structure. And doesn’t want to Skype with other kids.

I’m nervous what this says about her social & mental health...or maybe I’m a bad parent who over structured prior.

Imaginary friends are now back in our lives. I thought they were forgotten, but apparently they were just on a three year trip around the world!

my 4 year old is going to be devastated that schools are closed for a month (we haven't told her, w e take it week by week). we have two older kids but she really misses her friends at school. She was a shy kid and it took a long time for her to warm up to school, now it is over for the foreseeable future!

So it's not just onlies who can find confinement lonely!

Mine 10 yo is fine. Her school switched to online learning and keeps them pretty busy. Then she does bike rides, playing with dolls, a little TV.
