My kid is grade 4 and he participated in Beestar Online Math Competition in last October and he did well because that competition is goes by grade level so it is suitable for the kids in Elementary to participate in that competition. My son willing to join that competition in coming March. |

The mathleague.org contests are the same for every grade level, with just awards given by grade. They are way too hard for most 2nd and 3rd graders. The state level elementary contests have high school level material in them, not just algebra, but geometry as well. |
PTAs can run these. Charge $10 and it will make money for the PTA. The PTA at my kids' school makes thousands of dollars a year from math club, providing CML, Math Olympiad, Virginia Math League, and Sunshine Math. |
