It pretty much wasn't, and still isn't way more than half the time that it's reported. We all know it's often not reported. According to FBI statistics, out of 127,258 rapes reported to police departments in 2018, 33.4 percent resulted in an arrest. |
+1 I’m still surprised that he wasn’t re-elected. |
RAINN says that only 20% of reported rapes result in an arrest. Only 2% of *reported* rapes result in jail time for the offender. https://www.rainn.org/statistics/criminal-justice-system |

Her sister was present and was also raped (and was the 13 year old testifying). |
He was accused by two girls. Only the older one, the 13 year old, testified. |

Aha, I suspected this all along and now someone has counted.
Of the people Bevin pardoned, some 95% are White. https://amp.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/dec/21/kentucky-governor-pardons-matt-bevin?CMP=share_btn_tw&__twitter_impression=true |
Unbelievable. I guess Bevin will be fun out of Kentucky and we’ll be stuck with him as he moves to the DMV to become a lobbyist. |
That poor girl. How can she feel safe again with her rapist on the loose?
|
The question you should be asking is how many were put away who were innocent prior to DNA? |
Don’t worry your pretty misogynistic head, only innocent black men were put away (or lynched). Angry white men like you tend not to be too bothered about the innocence of black people. |
Not nearly as many as the number of women who are raped by already accused rapists. https://www.propublica.org/article/false-rape-accusations-an-unbelievable-story |
+1 Even when there are witnesses - as in the case that Bevin pardoned - women. aren’t. believed. Look at all the untested rapes kits that have languished in storage across the country. Nothing says “we take this crime seriously” like totally ignoring the evidence. How many serial rapists could have been caught? How many rapes could have been prevented? And here’s a Trumper to let a convicted one off. Nicely done, magats. |
No, that is ONE question. Justice is denied both when men are falsely convicted of rape and when rapists are not convicted. Anyone claiming to care about justice should care about both. Please go redpill somewhere else. |
And? |
Testimonies are evidence. Why would they not be? The world must seem so big and confusing to you. |
