Also in Beauty there's the poster who talks about needing "1/4 teaspoon, it's more than you think!" in SPF threads. |
The woman who split from her husband and is with a new man and her and her son have never been happier but her friend doesn't support her new relationship. |
She must also live in MoCo! |
I’m not in Central Office. DH and I are classroom teachers in MCPS. Both career changers with no desire to leave the classroom. I know unhappy teachers. Some have good cause to be unhappy in MCPS specifically. Others will be miserable in education anywhere. I just don’t understand coming back repeatedly to DCUM to post about a system you left. Do former UPS employees who go to work for FedEx constantly write about how awful UPS is? |
And the "well back HOME in New Jersey (or CT/NY/MA/wherever) we don't have this issue because we have TOWNS BASED school systems" with a lengthy internal diatribe on the inferiority of county-based schools. |
The person who is always reminding us that we are privileged and out of touch with how common folk live. I MEAN, WE KNOW, THAT'S WHY WE POST ANONYMOUSLY AMONG OTHER PEOPLE LIKE US, WHICH MAKES US LESS HORRIBLE THAN IF WE POSTED ON FB. She should be applauding our restraint and discretion. |
Or she could simply realize that not everyone on DCUM is middle class and up or from a middle class family of origin. My spouse and I grew up poor. We’ve been working class adults and are somewhat new to being middle class. We still live among “the common folk” and like it that way. |
These delights:
- Get an MRI because your headache is a brain tumor! - I potty trained at 12 months, maybe I should write a book. - You need to increase your catering budget. - You should make that from scratch. |
The woman who talks about how she stays fit and well dressed for her husband and she expects the same from him, which he obliges because it is part of showing respect and living up to his respective end of the bargain. |
The Pr person for the Whittle school
|
The dummy who accuses an OP of "trying to make Fetch happen" when they start a thread she doesn't think should exist. These often turn into multi-page threads. |
The small group of "that's daycare, not preschool" freaks whenever someone talks about full-day preschool. |
Soulmates is a classic. Has been posting that a long time. But I think she was featured in Non-famous part 1. I appreciate the dry sense of humor. |
How Many Pizzas Do I Order?!?!?! |
The anti- kate poster who monitors her work schedule on spreadsheets.
