Vet starts GoFundMe page to pay for the wall

Border security is hardly folly.

“Border security” =/= “WALL.”

A survey of border agents in 2017 showed when asked about specific vulnerabilities in border security only 1% identified the lack of a wall as a security shortfall and only 4% identified fencing as an area of concern in border security.

A right-wing evangelica nut. The Rump promised that Mexico would pay for his wall. I would rather have five million immigrants from Latin America than Rump and his family of grifters! I would contribute to a Go fund me to sent him and his entire family to Russia, North Korea, Saudi Arabia or another Galaxy far, far away!

We're not talking about immigrants. We're talking about ILLEGAL immigrants. Stop conflating the two. And btw, how many illegal immigrants do you plan on housing, feeding, and educating?

Seriously, as an immigrant myself, who waited a long time and worked super hard to get here, I don't understand why so many people support illegal immigrants. There is a long line, wait in line! Don't cut the line.

To many Americans, immigrants are all the same, doesn't matter you are legal or illegal, makes no difference to them - why?!

Actually, I am one of those Americans, that's doesn't care. What difference does it make to me? Both obviously wanted to leave thier home country for some reason, maybe the illeagal one didn't have the funds or the ability to wait. What makes one better than the other? Just becasue one followed the law doesn't make you a better person, you could have just been in a better situation to wait it out. But I consider you both the same.

And you are better than both kinds of immigrants, you sound like you are in a position of judging them. And you feel good about your judgement.

Just made away with millions of red hat dollars.

I’m shocked I tell you. Shocked.

And here’s the funniest part. Trumpnuts are fine with giving this grifter their money, even if he blows it all on hookers and cocaine. Because their Hivemind has decided that by giving their money to a scam artist, they are owning the libs.

To the people who think legal and illegal immigrants are the same, you know there is usually a long line outside of Georgetown Cupcakes right? Imagine you are patiently waiting inline and a large group of people just showed up and cut the line and went straight inside? Shouldn't the owner/staff there tell that group of people to go outside and wait for their turn?

We all want yummy cupcakes, we should all wait in line.

I am the above poster that doesn't care. If the person that skipped me was being beaten, or gangs were threatening them on the regular while they were in the back of the line, I wouldn't care it they skipped. I wouldn't care if they skipped if their kids were hungry, but mine were eating well.

And to the posted that said I was judging, I don't understand what you mean. I have no judgment, because both are the same to me. Illegal or legal. For what ever reason, both needed to leave their home country and I'm guessing that must be a very serious reason. So I welcome them. And I would be willing to house a mother and her children or an intact family.

What if everyone in line are beaten? and some were waiting and some were cutting the line?

There are many people in the world who want to come, many are in worse condition.

Even if you are not in a worse condition, why being punished for that? Oh, because you are poorer therefore you can just take what I worked hard for from me? with your logic, only the people cutting the line would ever get any cupcake (FOR FREE TOO), there are only that many cupcakes being baked. But if you want to run your cupcake place as a charity then so be it.

If they are beaten, then they don't need cupcakes, they need food and water. I agree we should help them, but welcome them to cut other law-abiding people off is not the way to help. Coming to America is like cupcakes, it's very nice if you can have it, but no one should be entitled.

To all the people who act like an enormously complex issue, such as immigration, is as simple to work out as a line at the cupcake store— were you dropped on your head as child? Does Moron run in your family?

If there was a quick fix for immigration like putting kids in cages and Build the Wall! It would have been done decades ago. We have complicated problems in this country and need smart, serious people who work together to develop solutions that can’t be boiled down to a dumb metaphor and a ten second sound byte.

And frankly, I am sick and tired of Trumpkins taking complex problems that affect millions of Americans, like healthcare or DACA or immigration or wage stagnation or the cost of college or the opioid epidemic, thinking about them for 5 minutes, spouting off some nonsense about standing in line at the cupcake store and building the wall, declaring the problem fixed and moving on. ISIS hasn’t been defeated because Trump got bored with Syria and decided to declare that ISIS is defeated. The travel ban is a solution in search of a problem. Kids in cages and tear gassiing civilians and the wall do nothing to address the underlying issues that are leading to an immigration crisis being fueled primarily by Visa overstays. And are an expensive, unwieldy, morally objectionable, intellectually lazy half measures.

Immigration isn’t a cupcake store. It isn’t as simple as patiently waiting in line for the yummy cupcake. And you are either a patronizing a@@hole or an idiot if that’s how you talk about immigration.

We should so better on immigration (and opiates and education and healthcare and DACA and the rural-urban opportunity divide, etc.etc.) than a 15 second applause line that can hold a geriatric orange toddler’s attention.

It’s time to put adults back in change.

huh

So who should receive help first? the innocent kid in NYC being targeted by gangs - OR - the one trying to escape gangs by entering the country illegally?

So do you allow the illegal immigrant from Central America to butt ahead for his cupcake while trying to escape an MS 13 member, or do you allow the kid from the inner city to butt ahead instead (for the same reason, I'll add, to level the playing field)?

I'd love to hear your response.

The hivemind mentality affects multiple groups. It doesn't discriminate. Considering how divided this country is, you're pretty dense to use that term to describe only the conservatives.

just sayin', genius

Well they would have to fight that out amongst themselves once they got ahead, but they both could get in front of me. If I'm living a relatively safe life and I can afford to wait, they can get in front of me.

Well I would let them both in front of me and then survival of the fittest might have to kick in. But If I am living relatively safe and can wait because my life is stable, I am willing to for go my spot.
