It should’ve been Jessica Williams. I wish the timing had been better. I can understand why she didn’t go for it. The DS format would have pigeonholed her at a time when she wanted to grow and explore. But the more I see of her work, the more I think what a missed opportunity it was. She is amazing. |
I'm getting used to him comedically. But, frankly, I watch the show just to gaze longingly at him. |
You have to be smart to understand his jokes. |
+1 he is hilarious. I feel kinda bad for people who don’t get his timing or humor, they’re missing out. |
After reading his book, and being married to someone from the third world, I realized the problem is that people from the third world just can’t respond to our outrage the way we do. The humor is totally different. But if you can acclimate to it, he’s hilarious. |
So you literally never got his show eh |
Never found him that funny |
This. I’m bummed we can’t go see him 10/19. |
Do you really consider South Africa to be the third world? |
I like him, I find him funny. He’s different from Jon Stewart, but that’s ok. |
I agree. She’s great. |
I think he’s really hot and funny. Don’t care for the show. |
Yes, I'm sure that's it. There's no way we could simply find him dull and unfunny. Nope, has to be racism! ![]() |
Precisely. |
Here's another vote for dull and unfunny. I'd add pretentious and histrionic too. |
