It is clear from his other written responses that he exaggerated his role in some of the cases he claimed to prosecute to his advantage. So you can claim he is truthful and honorable, but the facts suggest otherwise.

Let's look at Leahy's question.....

SESSIONS: No.

He didn't ask if Sessions had been in contact with anyone with the Russian government for any reason. He asked specifically if he had been in contact with anyone from the Russian government about the 2016 election.
And, Sessions answered honestly.

Why was he meeting him at the RNC using his campaign funds? Why is he the only member of the Armed Forces Committee to meet him?

Is the weird intersplicing of the Sessions/Russia tweets with the Obama wiretapping tweets and indication that these tweets are timed to look like they are 3AM rants from POTUS?

Could they be Bannon or someone else trying to reach the part of the base that responds well to his tweeting? Notably, the Sessions/Russia ones are far less absurd, and they seem more likely to be planned tweets trying to deflect attention from the Sessions stuff. This time, though, they got crossed with a wiretapping rant.
