The pay is a function of your paychecks. In my experience, it was a percentage of my pay, and my work complemented with the rest for maternity, or i covered with sick leave for other types of leave (Family/prenatal appts). It's DCPFL-DC Paid Family Leave. The check comes from DC and you have to apply from DC DOES and yes the maximum amount is 1153.00 per week. Yes the amount is low for some, but I'd have given anything to have had access to it when I was having babies and it didn't exist. |
