Headed in the same toxic direction as the U.S. A friend’s daughter moved to Southern Europe. It is a slower pace and cheaper, but she and her kids deal with racism constantly. The woman has a PhD and her neighbors keep offering her work cleaning and doing menial chores. |
Most husbands I know are happy to be with their wives. We both came from poor families, I grew up literally dirt poor, as in our floor was compacted dirt. I knew what it was like to struggle for everything, hence I am a progressive who thinks working and poor people deserves just as much as the well to dos, which we are now. |
Fine with me, happy to pay for their one way ticket. |
| I can’t believe having the President constantly tell them how horrible and stupid they are makes them fantasize about leaving. |
Have you tried applying for citizenship in SE Asia? Applied for jobs? |
Personally, I make pity people like you. Some of us aspire to a less mammalian type existence, our worth defined by more than what comes in and out from between our legs. But you keep living that base animal lifestyle, I’m sure it’s very rewarding for someone who has little human intelligence and few other options for keeping yourself fed. |
Haha. That only works in the U.S. The rest of the world has Universal ID (National ID). Without it you can’t do anything. Nothing at all. No work, no place to live, no mobile phone, no school. So you can’t overstay your vacation and remain unnoticed, unless you want to peddle under a bridge. Even then you will be picked up eventually. We wouldn’t have 10 million undocumented, if we had national ID… but we don’t have national id due to our unique American guns that must remain undocumented, too. At least that’s been the excuse. Perhaps someone can figure this out. |
And health insurance that will take half your income! |
You've spent years in Antarctica? Wow. |
The US is huge in comparison to European countries. How else would you "set it up?" |
Liberals Always Chicken Out |
I am in the same situation. it's only been a year for us, I didn't realize how stressed I was about school shootings until I didn't have to worry about them anymore! It is true though- there are a LOT of muslims and sub saharan immigrants and they are everywhere. the principal of my kids school is Turkish German (was born in Berlin) , my German language teacher has kosovan/albanian parents. the Sunday convenience store is owned by a Pakistani guy . In my particular city there are a lot of second gen TAMIL Sri Lankans and ppl from Thailand so we have good Thai food aside from the ever present kebap shops plus a good asian food mart that stocks stuff like lao gan ma and bubble tea. Despite the diversity- people in general seem very well integrated though, it's still a European feeling community and the immigrants (including myself) speak the language and follow the social contract- doesnt feel like sharia law is coming but it is more conservative than it used to be in the past. there aren't any couples having sex in the park or topless sunbathers which is a change from when my in-laws would visit in the 70s and 80s. |
And American men are generally considered desirable in most countries. But American women, not so much. |

You must not make very much. |
