| As everyone eyes the large salad bowls at every family gathering going forward. |

We use the plastic shoeboxes.
We also don't have a popcorn bowl. We serve popcorn directly into small bowls split evenly among all who want some. |
| I’ve got a puker and the correct answer is: toilet, McDonald’s Boo Bucket, trash can, emesis bag in that order. But never, ever, EVER under any circumstances food bowls. You keep your norovirus popcorn away from me. |
| gross no |

I have more issues with ibs diarreah than puking. Sorry, tmi. I mostly make it to the toilet..

Childhood was a variety. Trash can, popcorn bowl, toilet.
I hate throwing up in the toilet. I won't. I will throw up in the tub if I don't have a barf bag. The smell of the toilet - even when clean - makes me more ill. As a parent I now have those blue bags eerywhere but if someone is under age 8 I will use a lined nellis detergent bucket that I use for cleaning. But mostly the blue bags. |
It’s not like it’s being vomited into daily - it’s a rare occasion and mostly just sits next to the bed if a kid is sick and truly can’t get to the bathroom in time. It gets dumped into the toilet and then washed and bleached. |

I got a lot of flowers from Trader Joe’s a couple of weeks ago and they were so kind they gave me a bucket with some water to carry all the flowers back home.
I made a joke that the bucket looked to the perfect throw-up bucket. Well jokes on me because two weeks later my daughter brought a stomach bug home from school and it hit hard and that bucket came in handy! And yes the goal is the toilet, but young kids can’t always make it. |
Are you from Boston/New England? Waste paper basket is such a funny little phrase to me that I’ve only heard from my Bostonian father. To the OP: Yes throw up bowl/popcorn bowl/trick or treat candy bowl. This is Caucasian American culture |
| It’s disgusting to use a bowl for bodily fluid to also serve food out of. Please stop doing that. |
| Mostly try to make it to the toilet but my babies couldn't always so lined bin from the bathroom. |
| we use any old tupperware when our kids are nauseous. just throw it in the dishwasher afterwards... |
| Yes, same bowl. But I put a plastic divider in the bottom to keep the puke and popcorn separated. |
