I like quirky. VCU- emphasis on arts and medicine- gives me a quirky vibe. Plus it is in downtown Richmond.

Agreed, our W&M kid did have U Rochester as a runner-up and had also submitted to Brandeis and CMU (fit the size even if the location could not be more different). Bio major.

NP. SMCM has a drug issue?? That’s one that’s on my DC’s list so that’s concerning to hear.

It really is hard to find a comparable for W&M, esp if looking close to the DMV. Size, cost (even for OOS), rigor, vibe.
