Did she take AP Bio or Chem? I’m hoping not.

AP Bio in 10th grade, AP Chem in 11th, sorry

I’m an Amherst grad and I have never heard this term.

I had t heard of it before finding DCUM but it’s used all the time on this board. Very surprised you haven’t heard it before unless you’re brand new here.

Harvard students don’t use HPYSM. It’s still a term thrown around.

DD who is a top student at a NJ public has been told that it’s important to take physics. She took AP Chem as a junior but is taking Accelerated Physics as a senior for this reason (our school doesn’t allow AP Physics until after you’ve taken an intro-level class). She’d rather take AP Bio, but we’re trusting the advice. (Her school also doesn’t allow doubling up on lab sciences.)
