I feel like if you're 50+ and it's your second marriage, you don't need a bridal party like you're some 21 year old marrying your college sweetheart with all of your fraternity pledge class as your groomsmen.

After Aniston “wedding” they went to Bora Bora with friends for their honeymoon. She said after Pitt divorce she said she wanted a wedding on an island. I think the official wedding happened in Bora Bora which would explain why TMZ didn’t find certificate.

That Vogue piece was so pretentious. My stylist this, my stylist that. So out of touch and smug. She’s a little plain but interesting looking at the same time. Mainly she’s just young and thin. He’s looking rougher these days and his clothes didn’t always seem to fit well. Accentuates his being height-challenged.

Guess he’s not close to his father, and Louis didn’t make it either. I think I saw a glimpse of Naomi Watts. Billy Crudup is a good friend of his.

Beyond societal pressure, there was a very strong media narrative around the time of her divorce from Brad (maybe created by Brad/Angie PR?) That the reason poor Brad had to leave for Angelina was that Aniston didn't want kids. I think she felt the need to counter that. I think she has also said things about her own upbringing like she didn't want to have a kid without a strong marriage and partnership in raising them, which she has definitely struggled to find. Maybe because I relate to this in being kind of ambivalent about kids (I did have them but was on the fence til 40...) but I think she was open to it if she could have the whole family picture with the right guy, but she wasn't going to do things like surrogates or becoming a single mom by choice. Just never wanted them THAT badly in a way a lot of women do.

She also had a traumatic experience being raised by a single mom. I could see why she would hesitate to be one herself.
