HBCUs already offer admission to White students. I went to an HBCU with a sizable number of White students. They are also offered scholarships to attend. However, many White students don't see HBCUs as schools they want to attend. I don't see this changing unless this administration outlaws HBCUs, which wouldn't surprise me unfortunately. |
Then literally no male will get into college. They actually benefit and get in better schools b/c they don't apply in the same numbers. |
I look forward to seeing how the kids adapt to this nonsense. For example, the Black Students Union can now become the “African American Culture Appreciation Club,” with a knowledge test required to join. If you implement a cookout dish or dance requirement too, you’ll exclude 95% of white people right out the gate. Only the best appreciators can join, no DEI allowed.

Well, if you hadn't discriminated against us for say, 400 years, maybe this wouldn't be necessary. |
Exactly. I was a member of the Society of Women Engineers for years, starting with a student chapter at my university in the 90s. Membership was open to all - we actually had several men in the chapter, and one of our faculty advisors was a man. No one screamed "DEI" about it then, and yet, now, this is suddenly an issue. |
Mediocre white men have been convinced that the only thing keeping them from becoming billionaires is DEI. |
You have no idea what DEI means. |
Ah SWE ![]() Good times! Also from the 90s and the meeting had a prominent amount of men, probably because of the free pizza ![]() And they ran the most prominent engineering career fair on campus which was open to all. |
Yes, HBCUs and schools that emphasize Native American and Latino culture are at risk — even though anyone can attend them. The DC area has a concentration of highly educated Black Americans, and Black communities that go back many generations. I can imagine Trump and Musk salivating at the thought of damaging us. |
This is actually a boon for hiring as well. We don’t have to go out of our way to find white boys in the interest of “diversity”. We can just look at the best and exclude the rest. Which includes fewer and fewer white boys these days since they’ve prioritized dope and video games over bettering themselves through hard work. |
How can they separate sports by gender then? That’s discrimination. Oh, wait, the letter only instructed them to stop racial discrimination, not gender or religious discrimination. |
What do you mean? Hbcus arent limited to black students. I'm a white female and attended Morgan State. Got a scholarship too! Were you under the impression that only students of color could attend a HBCU? |
Agree. If white men can’t be exclusive, no one should be able to be. |
What about those tens of thousands of six-figure DEI management and school admin jobs that literally popped up overnight during covid? They seemed to be pretty much AA exclusive positions. And since many of these jobs never existed before, what was the relevant work experience needed to qualify for the position? |
You are lazy PP. Bloomberg for starters: https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2023-black-lives-matter-equal-opportunity-corporate-diversity/ |
