Who the hell cares even if they aren’t “both able bodied”? We shouldn’t need to pay for services (healthcare or otherwise) for illegal immigrants no matter what their situation is.

Undocumented immigrants paid $25.7 billion in Social Security taxes, $6.4 billion in Medicare taxes, and $1.8 billion in unemployment insurance taxes in 2022.

If they truly want to cut down on Medicaid and Medicare spending there is really only one answer: what they called “death panels” during the Obamacare debate. Over 90 percent of the health care spending a person receives occurs in the last 6 months of life. Stop keeping those old people alive so long, costs will go way down.

If they aren't in the system and haven't paid their 40 quarters, they won't qualify for benefits. How do you suppose people working and living here illegally are qualifying? think it through.

I guess you are not familiar with the welfare reforms under Bill Clinton, but able bodied people haven't gotten welfare in decades. Do you know who gets most of it? Whote folks in suburbia and rural areas, mostly red states, on "disability"

You should have been paying closer attention. Almost all of these reforms were eliminated in the early days of the Obama Administration.

Each state determines its own rules for TANF eligibility. And they are not giving it to ablebodied people, or as you lot likes to say, "welfare queens." SAme with medicaid. Sounds like YOUR information is out of date. Like 35+ years out of date.
