Just looked at girls 2026 commit list. Wow. Extremely impressive. Is there a reasonable explanation as to why the girls DMV programs look to be leaving the boys DMV programs in the dust when it comes to number of commits? |

There is more money in the women's game and a much stronger list of D1 programs that offer the sport (USC, Boston College, Florida, Vandy etc. etc)
The men's game is not growing the way it once was a decade ago. |

| I'm not sure of the exact numbers but I believe there's 120+ womens D1 teams and 80 or so mens D1 teams |

| There are 78 men's teams and 120 Women's teams. However the women's game has been also an offset to football scholarships so more teams at big football schools like FL, FSU, Clemson, VT ect. In 2022 there were 107K boys players and 96K girls in HS lacrosse. However, when adding D3 the numbers are more similar. Also most of the big football schools have serious MCLA teams. Now back to discussing BOYS 2026. Glax dads can go back to whatever it was you were doing. |
