This is a very weird comment. I'm pregnant right now and there's nothing for DH to "endure" - unless you mean he doesn't get to look at a small waistline right now so he deserves recompense for that?

YMMV, but mine doesn't need a week vacation to cope with the fact that I teared up during 20% more Olympics commercials than usual.

The name is tacky, but DH and I have purchased jewelry to commemorate each kid’s birth. Pearl earrings for #1, gold hoops for #2, and undecided for #3. I have all sons, but it’s my hope to pass each piece to them/their spouse/their kid/whatever when they are older. I really treasure the jewelry I have inherited from my family. I don’t think of this as a “payback” for pregnancy, just a celebration of their births.
