I'm sure you couldn't get in though! |
Now include the high transfer acceptance rate and the delayed admitted students. It's closer to 50%! |
Correct. I was too busy going to Wesleyan, surely too stupid for W&M LMAO |
That's not how acceptance rates work. UVA's transfer acceptance rate is also very high, and waitlisted students get guaranteed admission through Wise. But funny how you don't see anyone on here claiming they're significantly less competitive. |
Yeah you've made that quite clear. Wonder what the acceptance rate for Wesleyan was back in 1970... |
And I'm certain it was precipitously lower than William and Mary in 1970... |
Well what you're certain of couldn't fill a shot glass. |
This doesn't list W&M's awful 20% yield rate, which means its a back up state school for UVA kids. The actual incoming students are the lower end of the pack who couldn't get into anywhere better. |
William and Mary had a 70% acceptance rate as early as 2008. Why are people acting like its some prestigious institution?
|
It's so funny imagining you just sitting at the computer foaming at the mouth right now. We get it, the only way you can feel good about yourself is to put other stuff down. Maybe if your marriage was better, your kids liked you, you had a good social life you wouldn't feel the need to compensate! |
Even back in the 1980s it was below 35%. Idk why people get on here and lie. |
3000/11500 isn't 70% https://www.wm.edu/news/announcements/2008/william-and-mary-logs-another-record-year-for-applicants-undergraduate-admission-applications-up-6-percent-to-more-than-11,500.php |
"Foaming at the mouth." I'm glad you have creativity backing you, because the lying is very unnecessary. W&M factually has a very low yield; you can lie about it or not, but I'm just pointing out things that people should be taking notes on. Students clearly disagree that it's a number 1 destination. |
FWIW, I don't think W&M has an indoor track so all winter meets will be "away" and training will be mostly outdoors. I don't know about URichmond but it is something to consider.
Also, will your D miss not having a companion men's track team at Richmond? My son ran four years of track in college and the men's and women's teams were pretty tight which, at least from my perspective, added to the experience. |
People don't expect others to look up their claims for some reason |
