Hotels would dump their garbage over the wall, buildings went unfinished (topped with exposed rebar), and you had to throw your soiled toilet tissue in the trash instead of the toilet (seeing poop or blood-smeared tissue sitting on top of the trash is nasty). Nobody obeyed any sort of law to protect the disabled, so people in wheelchairs couldn’t exit their buildings when people blocked the ramps; in some cases, ramps were simply a set of stairs that had been paved over, so they were very steep (I couldn’t get a stroller down one without slipping). None of the water was potable.

That doesn’t change the fact we could cut the fed jobs in half and trim the fat of useless SES and higher level management.

LOL yes dear the regulatory system that keeps your food and water and air clean doesn’t need actual employees.

The system is being dismantled but by the time we see the full consequences it will be too late.

Look at the state of the food we consume here and tell me they are doing a good job. Might as well gut these corrupt bureaucrats and career do nothings.

Maybe the issue is the GOP continuing to cut and businesses constantly skirting the regulations.
