Biden will be the nominee. People aren’t voting for Biden, but rather the entire Democratic establishment, and they know this.
Biden will be the nominee, they’ll spend the next few months tuning up the propaganda 100x, and focus their efforts on fear-mongering conservatives bringing about the end of the world. They’ll make sure the focus is less on electing Biden; and more on preventing republicans from gaining power, and ensuring democracy prevails through Democrats and their leadership. Kamala is a guaranteed loss, but Biden isn’t, so long as they have their propaganda apparatus intact. Plus, Biden’s a puppet with no free will to do anything, he’s old and they can put all the blame on him for all their destructive policies. Final bet: Biden nominee |
The GOP shut down the immigration bill so you could type this out. Truly, they killed the best chance, and pretty much all their asks, to address the border so that the border would remain a problem. That’s not a Biden/Harris problem, that’s a GOP problem. |
Exactly! GOP (Trump) would rather blame, than fix it! |
Changing candidates from.Biden to someone else is a guaranteed loss for Democrats.
Learn from republicans folks, double down on everything. |
Watching this meltdown is glorious! |
Agree. We are watching the next president being decided in real time. Glad to see him/her. Finally! |
If it isn't Harris then there is no point in having an ejection because the Black vote will stay home. Think idiot, think! She was popular enough to win major campaigns in CA and she will be popular enough to beat Trump because a lot of women have been waiting a long time for one of their own gender to break that bloody glass political ceiling and we know that once it's broken, we are no longer 2nd class citizens. How special it will be for a woman to beat Trump! |
Trump supporters are dying to have Harris as the nominee. Only Dem worse than Biden. Careful what you wish for. |
Democrat here and one who believed Biden was fine. Last Thursday was not a one off. He needs to be a hero and pass the baton to Harris. |
KJP is proving , once again, to be mentally handicapped |
You are getting nowhere with this though. Republicans actually should do better, but Trump has a core base that supports him so fervently that they have made everyone else in that party just fall in line. There is no option at this point for the Republicans to pick someone else to run. The Democrats have an opportunity to change course, and people in the party and independents are supportive of it, so why wouldn’t they?! I’m not enamored with Kamala Harris, but I have an open mind, and I sure as hell will vote for her over Trump 10 times out of 10. I can’t say that I would vote for Biden, I’d probably just not vote or write someone else in. A change in candidates will win over some swing voters. |
I posted upthread (I think it was this thread anyway) that I have resigned myself to Biden dropping out but name me one race in which the replacement wins the election. - still remember the outcome of Mondale vs Coleman after Wellstone died |
OPEN CONVENTION. Kamala and all the senators and governors can compete for delegates. It will generate huge interest and a big boost for whomever comes out on top. |
A coalition of Harris for President and Adam Kinzinger as VP. He brings in moderate GOPers, Never Trumpers, and sane Republican. It will hopefully begin to bring bipartisan government back and kill the MAGA insanity. |
This will never happen but it would be amazing. I wish they could pluck Larry Hogan out of the Maryland Senate race for something like this. |
