I'm a Biden supporter and think this doesn't have much bearing on his qualifications for presidency, but I 100% think it is really dumb politics and bad advice for himt to get this much work done. They've pulled his skin so tight that he has a sort of crazed look, especially if he is trying to make a forceful point (yelling). He's lost all the crinkly charm he once had. It has nothing to do with policies, but everything to do with policies. It's the same with Trump's stupid orange spray tan -- it's an unforced error (although I suspect that the Trump spray-tan is his own idea whereas the Joe plastic surgery is probably suggested by family members or handlers who think he should look younger). For male politicians , it's okay to look old and even ugly -- it's not okay to look weird, which is what both of these guys have managed to do. Age like a Carter and you'll just get more lovable with age. Or even like a Ford.

+1 I agree! He doesn’t look normal anymore. He looked fine before and it’s expected that he ages and becomes old looking. Now he looks like a mask of Biden. He mumbles and it could be because of the surgeries and veneers and who knows what else.

NP. I think you are really underestimating what a senior citizen looks like when they are that age without work. The hair is vanity but very understandable. The facelift is not to look young, it's to not look dead.

And let's be honest, he would have happily retired years ago if there were anyone else. This is our fault. Not his.

I really hope that whoever advises Biden is reading this and realizes the disservice they have done him with all that work — people that get too work have a permanently vacant look because they can’t move their face muscles properly. I really do think it is feeding into the “he’s senile” narrative because he just looks weirdly expressionless.
