Can we petition to have decline rights with no repurcussions for team 4 and 5?

Haha! I’m there with you.

Which team? Lower 2 teams should have option to decline without repercussions. Besides, they actually made a team on their own merit it seems (s ton of private school starters and top club players). Team one was clearly handpicked and traded like a game of Pokémon cards between coaches.

That's the most DMV ever written! Without repercussions?

Only for you.

The entire tryout was a joke. I even know if girls on the top teams who acknowledge that they have stronger teammates placed much lower. It makes zero sense.

Maybe the stronger player just had a bad tryout? Obviously these teammates play for the same coach so the argument that coaches get together and deal a deck of cards didn’t jive with that logic

there are also coaches there who don't know all the girls, they are judging based on what they see that day. if the girls had a bad tryout, they got judged based on their play for the day.

Weird that all the best players on our team had bad tryouts. Must have been something in the water that day.

Same here. My Kid said she had one of her best tryouts. For those who landed on one of the lower teams, are you still going (because you were told you have to)? Want to make sure my daughter will at least be playing with people in the same boat. Strength in numbers

Have they publicly posted the team rosters?

I mean with names not tryout numbers.

My daughter is on a lower team and should have been a few teams higher in any sensible tryout. We submitted payment based on the threats and will attend. I will be on the sidelines with a cocktail and lounge chair - it will be a win regardless of level of play or outcome.

If you look at who is involved with the tryouts, especially the DC area teams, that's how and why the teams get selected like they do. Follow the incompetence and that's all you need to know. The event isn't worth it any more.

Not possible...my daughter plays flawlessly at every try out.

Unfortunately, the top to DC teams winning their brackets last year don't support your thought.
