And yes, I have Adidas sambas. The horror! I wear them with my AGolde jeans and Jenni Kayne sweaters.

They’re using you.

Not PP but who cares? Marriage is overrated. The last thing a divorced woman wants is another husband.

I feel like women on here are more controlling about what someone over 35 can do or wear.

Emphasis on date. Men will tell you whatever you want to hear to string you along and keep you as a sexual option with no commitment.

You'd know, right?

Divorced PP here. I'm engaged now, but good try. Middle aged women in DC have AWFUL taste.

Where did you meet your partner? If OLD, did you prefer a particular app?

Wow, someone sounds old, overweight, and like her husband doesn't love her any more and may be banging the hot young assistant.

The bitterness and contempt is literally dripping in massive drops off your page, sweetie. Get a life and stop comparing yourself to others. If you weren't someone in competition with them, you wouldn't be worrying about what they are wearing. You wouldn't even notice.

But I can't for the life of me think of anything nice to say about a person who cares this much about what other women wear. Worry about what you put on your own body. You just sound nasty and desperate yourself, OP. Be better.

It's posts like this that make me believe that nothing that men have ever done to us is worse than what we continue to do to each other.

This. She sounds incredibly jealous of women she knows that are much better looking and pull off clothes better than she does. Its just incredibly insecure all the way around.

Those slutty Sambas… they just reveal to much of a woman’s ability to be sexual. The horror.

(Do you even hear yourself?)

I am 60 and wear trendy sneakers. What should I wear instead? Actually, don't answer that because I don't give a F what you think.
You sound like a bitter Betty.

Anonymous wrote:I'm fine with any sneakers people want to wear, but agree with stop calling yourselves "girl" and "girlie." Some of my 40+ year old friends are doing this as well, just stop. I'm proud to be a woman and not a "girlie."

And this affects you how? Please, let's stop policing what other people do that is not harming anyone.

Most men don't really care what women wear and barely notice. Also, who cares what they think?

Women can wear whatever the hell they want and speak however they hell they want. Don't like it? Walk away.

Late-30s man here. If I encounter a woman of my age behaving in the manner OP describes, it would be a giant turnoff. It's annoying enough when "age appropriate" women behave this way.

Ok. Enjoy your cargo pants and ball cap and be quiet.

The woman on woman hate here is so insidious. We used to not be able to get a mortgage in our own names! We have come so far only to act like this toward each other. Sad.

Samba giries! Are they comfortable?

Nope. I would have no idea about any of the brands and only notice she looks good in whatever she wears. If you're talking just shoes, I have never remarked on or remembered the shoes a woman has worn on a date.

This message brought to you by reading a thread on the Entertainment forum in which women hating women in one way are sure that women hating women in a different way are the real problem.

Parroting teenage girls you see on TikTok and instagram—from lexicon to fashion—when you’re twice their age is deeply embarrassing.

you're assuming the wearer is owning it. You can't make another person feel something. I say, wear what you want. If you're embarrassed for them that's your issue.
