Bobble head doll is always the tell. |
I'm sure she is underweight. But you can be a little BMI range -- or a little over BMI range! -- and still be healthy. She looks to me to be underweight and healthy. She probably does have a pretty restricted, but healthy diet (no way a post-menopausal woman keeps that stomach and still eats carbs/dairy/sugar, sadly) -- it might be for health reasons, or for personal preference, or because of industry pressure, we can't really know. I used to be chronically under BMI, just because of my metabolism and genetics. I'm now a little over BMI because of menopause. But my diet and exercise and general health are still pretty much identical to what it was when I was "underweight." Also, the BMI scale is pretty off for people that are unusually tall or short. And people have all different sorts of bodies, and clearly hers never was, and never will be, "average" in any sort of way. |
The difference is that JLo looks healthy. Kidman doesn’t. |
What's your point? Super-models are healthy and hardly ever 105 lbs unless they are Kate Moss, who was short for a model, 5'7. |
and who better than the national enquirer to know how much she weighs? ffs, look up what 5'11" and 105lbs looks like to know that's not NK's stats |
Underweight is not same as anorexic, you know that, right? You are literally claiming the women has a mental illness. |
She looks fine. Leave her alone. She's clearly a tall and naturally thin body type. Sorry folks they exist and I know it burns you all up to the ends of the earth. Life isn't fair. |
Actually, it looks like she’s STOPPED the procedures and is aging more naturally now. She is 56 years old, FFS. The article is juvenile. |
The amount of weight and body shaming on this 6 pages long thread is disgusting. I dare someone to post a thread shaming an overweight actress/singer/performer. It would be taken down immediately. |
So true. |
This photo was attached to an advertisement on another website I was just reading, and I thought immediately of this thread which I had visited this morning. Look at this grocery shopping mom from the 50s/60s - she's ANOREXIC!!
![]() People's notions of what is a normal looking body is totally skewed by the 70% of overweight and obese fellow citizens we see around us every day - or maybe in the mirror. Nicole Kidman isn't anorexic. She's not even underweight. |
I'm 5'9, 125lbs. Not one doctor has ever told me I'm underweight or that they were concerned about my weight. I'm not skeletal looking or gaunt looking in any way. |
Wow. Just wow. |
What are you on about? That woman weighs more than NK, and she's a chain smoking thirty-year-old. Your the one with dysmorphia if you can't see it. But by all means find yourself a time machine to the 50s, and enjoy the culture. |
+1, and it's amazing to me how the body shaming takes the exact same form as it would if the person in question was overweight. It's the concern trolling "oh I'm just worried about her health" BS. No you are not. You hate her body because it provokes some kind of shame response in YOU. I don't know how Hollywood actress of any size deal with this amount of scrutiny and criticism. I've been body shamed before (what woman hasn't) but the relentlessness of this is so disturbing. I don't even care about Nicole Kidman really! But it's so gross to encounter so many people (likely mostly women) scrutinizing another woman's body in this detail and with such nasty, critical tone. |
