the so-called modern farmhouse is just an easy template for spec builders to do super cheap homes that have a veneer of "style." they are so bad and so ugly.

no one on their own would hire and architect to do a crappy modern farmhouse.

Contemporary is in. Beige is back. This includes exteriors.
