Indian Matchmaking Season 3

Having watched all the episodes...my only thought is maybe the filmmakers are intentionally showing that Sima isn't necessary? Otherwise why on earth would you devote so much time to someone who ignores Sima, finds someone online and then gets engaged to them?
(My favorite quote: "Sima would never have set us up". No...because he's no Indian!!)
The other Miami couple who moved in together also met without her help (though the fact that they didn't get engaged seems odd.) Once again, no one Sima set up seemed even close to marriage.

I feel like the couples in India that use Sima are seriously looking to get married. The couples in the US/UK that use Sima are either trying to get their parents off their backs or trying to get on TV. The exception to this rule is Bobby.

I kind of disagree. I think the process of meeting Sima helped clarify what they wanted and how to find it. Sima was a positive jump start to make them feel ready to make it happen. I don't know that they would have found their match if they didn't go through the Sima process. It's like how a lot of people meet their person IRL soon after starting online dating.

It does not seem very believable that they are still together - made up for TV.

Apparently still together!

that article doesn't give any insight beyond what's on the show and scanning their instagram pages.

Me too! He would make a great husband…

I can appreciate that he would be a great math teacher too --enthusiastic and positive.

he was awesome. I swooned.

I didn't like this season as much--it didn't seem as real as past seasons. But it was still fun to watch.

What ever happened to Aperna? She was a hoot!

I loved Nadia and want to see more of her.

What on EARTH is up with Vikash breaking up with a girl he has great chemistry with because she doesn't speak Hindi, which he takes to mean lack of interest in the culture, and then rejecting another girl because she is TOO Indian and speaks native Hindi with an Indian accent?!??? I mean what the actual f. We've seen clueless guys who have a lot of undesirable qualities demand a perfect 10 woman, but this really takes the cake.

And the first girl was 8 years younger which he didn't like and then the third girl he likes is 10 years younger---ummm, ok!

Me too, a guy can't fix his height. I hated that Priya was making fun of him, he seems like a lovely guy.

Yeah, I wanted to like Priya, but the editing made that a little hard.

I don't understand why Arti was such a big part of the show. It is fine to start with Simi and then meet someone on your own and say how the experience with Simi helped her open up to Jamal. But then leave it there...continuing on with her story was weird. Also, i thought she was great but I hated her eyelashes--they were so distracting!

I hope you’re joking

I liked him too but Bobby is definitely someone who wants to be on TV/famous, this is his second reality show and he's a BBC presenter: https://www.harpersbazaararabia.com/culture/people/who-is-bobby-seagull-from-indian-matchmaking-season-3

Every scene with them felt so awkward. Nothing about their relationship was believable.

I like that he ended up with someone much younger because it confirms my belief that matching with someone based on a list of qualities beyond core values and very basic lifestyle is just dumb. You have to click first and foremost, then almost everything else is negotiable. If you have chemistry, you learn to love and appreciate things about someone you never would have thought to consider.
