Well if those kids exist they were never getting in especially in the old system. |
The bolded has never been true, at least with respect to public education. |
You must be in a teacher's union. Democratic controlled public schools are the worst in the country by far. Wake up. |
You must be a Fox News viewer. Those schools under-perform because they're in under-resourced urban neighborhoods and are largely populated by folks who can't afford to supplement their child's education with extras outside the school building. Go back to sleep. |
x1 million |
Bull. |
Nice deflection, but wrong. First, it appears you agree that the worst performing schools are controlled by Democrats. Good for you. Here is a nice article that tries to explain why funding is not the issue. Democrats have had 50 years to try to tackle the underlying problem and are still failing miserably. https://www.theatlantic.com/education/archive/2018/01/what-school-funding-debates-ignore/551126/ |
Let's see.... study from WalletHub measures US states by educational attainment across 18 different metrics. The most educated state that voted for Trump in 2020 is Utah, ranking #11 behind 10 blue states. The next most educated red state is Montana, at #19 behind seven other blue states. Meanwhile, of the bottom 14 states, 12 of them voted for Trump in 2020. It would appear that states that favor Republicans score poorly in education. As the kids are fond of saying these days, "Scoreboard!" |
Education is controlled by local governments. Go look at the worst performing schools in those states and tell me the political affiliation of the school board members. |
DP. So the article you posted, if you actually read it, essentially claims that the problem is systemic racism. Might have played yourself there. |
No problem. How about Virginia? 17 of the best performing public schools in Virginia can be found in Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun, and Falls Church City. All of those school boards are controlled by Democrats and have been for decades. I don't believe that's the reason those schools are successful, but my only aim here is to prove that you're full of crap. Missions accomplished. |
Every state has a state board of education that handles most of the state's education policy. And despite what life in Northern Virginia would have you believe, the vast majority of school board members in America don't have a political affiliation, especially in rural areas. |

That's odd since if it were up to the GOP there would be no public schools. They hate spending tax dollars on anything that benefits regular people. |
The title screams propaganda. Can you give something that isn't about politics? |
