Can DD get the H1N1 shot between seasonal flu doses?

Anonymous
My daughter is scheduled to get the second dose of her seasonal flu vaccine (shot) next week. My pediatrician does not have the H1N1 flu vaccine and cannot offer any info about when they will receive it. We live in the district so if we don't go to one of the flu vaccine clinics this week, it is unlikely that DD will be able to get the required second dose of the H1N1 within four weeks. Any insight here? TIA

if she's getting a seasonal flu shot, it's fine for her to get H1N1 mist or shot. the only issue is getting mists of both within 4 weeks of each other.

You can get both shots at the same time, so I don't think there'd be a problem getting them in between each other - however just FYI kids under a certain age need to get 2 doses of the H1N1 shot one month apart. Can't remember the age limit on that.
