Ordering window coverings (blinds) in NYC for college apartment

I’ve looked online and found a couple places, but would like advice of anybody who has done this before. I’m looking for a place similar to next day blinds to order blinds for two windows in an apartment for a student in New York City. Does anyone have any advice? I’ve seen a couple places online but I wanted to know if anybody had actually had experience with some blind companies in New York City. WoUld like it to be budget and good ?. TIA

For a student, where this is going to be temporary housing, I would go to HD or Bed, Bath, and Beyond and buy a tension curtain rod. While I was there I would buy a curtain to put on the rod.

I would not spend the money for NDB.

Agree--but you can also get non-custom blinds at HD and cut them to size.

This, only I would let the student know this option exists, and let them handle it. I'd give them my 20% off coupon though.
